Looking for hunting partner.

As the title says, i'm looking for a hunting partner in north central PA.
I hunt mostly Moshannon State Forest near Bennezette. (2G)
Live in Altoona.

Mostly hunt archery deer, rifle deer, coyotes, bear, spring turkey.

I dunno who ya are, how old ya are, and it isn't any of my business, but you might look around for the right young man or gal who needs someone like you to take them and teach them.

You would be doing the Lords work, and he'd smile upon you. If you are a good man, there is a kid out there who needs your guidance. The trick might be in finding him or her. Use your head, and keep your eyes open. jd

I used to tease my daughters last boyfriend about putting marshmellows in his hoodie when we went bear hunting. :D

I would welcome someone younger than myself!
My daughter is a fair weather, 100 yards from the truck, bow hunter.
I invited my cousin's son to go with me last year, but he went with his maternal grandfather instead. Can't say anything bad about that!

I've noticed another ummmmm, phenomena in our society today. There have been thousands of boys who were raised with no father in the home.

A lot of these guys are now young fathers in their twenties or thirties, and have young kids of their own who they would like to bring into the outdoor world. They need expert/mentors to help them out.

The thought of these guys trying to involve their kids with guns, when they hardly know one end from the other scares the crap out of most of us. And most of us have seen it.

Oh, and pardon me for jacking your thread this direction. I hope you find a good partner. :) jd

l took a new 'hunter' afield on a prairie dog chuut this year. Twas great fun seeing that big SMILE on his face when he made a 553yd shot in the first HOUR of the first DAY. A comfort having company for 3000 miles on the road TOO:cool:
At age 50 he had never been further WEST than Hotlanta Gao_O
Now he wants to go AGAIN:D
