Looking for good 22LR smith for RimX barrel

Been reading on RimX threads on forum most are from 2020 or 2021. Need some help on finding a good smith on getting a RimX barrel pre-fit. Anyone have any suggestions?

I second John Langley. I’ve been working with and learning from him for the last 3 years. Great gunsmith and great guy! Right now I don’t think he’s taking any work in. I don’t want to disclose to much but he’s had a close family member that’s been pretty sick. Still worth giving him a call though

Mike Manzella @ Manzella Precision does amazing work. His RimX barrels are done with my chamber and the machine work is beautiful.

F Class John is shooting a Manzella RimX barrel I sent him in BR competition. The barrel was shooting sub 1.5" 10 shot groups at 200yd with lot tested R50 and RWS Special Match before I sent it to him

The barrel I got from @padom works fantastic. I don't have the luxury of lot testing so I'm at the mercy of how a barrels shoots whatever I get and it's performed above my expectations. I would say whoever chambered it knows what they're doing 100%. I can regularly get 18 shots (but have done 20) out of 20 inside a 4" at 200yds without lot testing.

Edit: For those that may not know, @padom is an amazing resource for rimfire info. He's tested more barrels (twist rate, length, chamber) than you can possibly imagine. Great guy to talk to as well.

I'm shooting my club's version of that but super informal. I have a Vudoo V22s coming and may start attending proper Rimfire F Classes if I can find any in my somewhat immediate area.
