Greetings all, I am looking for people on here from my area. I'm new to my area and looking for friends with common interest from the firearm community located in the NW Arkansas area, I am located between Berryville AR and Harrison AR

I'm about 30 minutes north-east of KCMO.

I'm still a working stiff, so I don't get out very far very often.
I grew up in the Springfield, Mo area. Left when I was 16. Stayed here because that's where the employment opportunities were.

Considering that TWO of the premier custom 1911 chops, Nighthawk Customs and Wilson Customs, are Berryville I feel sure there are a couple of people in your area that have "similar mindset".
Not sure how many of them are here on this forum though.

We have a Bench Rest match in Pencil Bluff, AR 2x per year which is not that far from you, Ouachita Sportsman's Range and is a NBRSA sanctioned match. Several shooters from your area shoot with us.

Howdy and welcome from Houston(ish) and another fairly new guy. I'm a lot of miles from your community but you've found a good site to hang with and a TON of helpful and useful information when you need it. Good luck.

If you're a member of the NBRSA, the location is in the magazine, the range is located 10 miles west of Mt Ida and offers 100–200-yard rifle range with 15 covered benches. Skeet range is also available. Matches take place in spring and summer, 100 yard on Sat and 200 yard on Sun. If you don't have a BR rifle, the match director, Ray Porter, usually has a loaner available so come out and shoot with us.

Just adding a word of encouragement to attend a match even if just to watch. There’s a ton to learn.

There’s also the Tulsa arms show within striking distance of there too

the first match of the year at pencil bluff [Ouachita sportsmen's assoc]
is a 4 gun on march 14 and 15. we will shoot unlimited and heavy varmint Saturday and sporter and light varmint Sunday

the date of march 4 and 5 in the magazine is wrong. that is Wednesday and Thursday.
