Looking for a Scope

I am in the process of having a rifle built.
Cal.- 7mm saum
Action- Defiance Deviant
Barrel- Krieger
Chassis- MDT LSS
Stock- Competition Machine: spacegun buttstock
Bipod- ?
Scope-?
I have been looking at NF, Zeiss, Vortex, Leupold, Weaver and Bushnell. Today while searching online I came across the Falcon with the Horus reticle. It looks intriguing. Anyone have experience with these, or an objective opinion?
Thanks,
Dallas

You need to share a little more information with us. What is the purpose of this rifle? I can see by your choices so far it is not going to be a F-Class, although I guess you could use the Pod in F/Open. If competition what competition? or maybe it is going to be a straight hunting rig. just some more information will help a lot.

I have been very pleased with a Bushnell 6-24x50 ERS Elite Tactical. FFP,.1 mil clicks. For your hunting needs the FFP allows accurate ranging at any power. The optics are surprisingly good.

how about a march..5-32x..starts at a mere $2500

Purchase a scope that's in compliance with a class you may be shooting in, if competing. Otherwise, go for the best sight picture your eyes require and that stays within your budget.

Remember if you can't see it, you can't hit it.

Fortunately there are are lot of good scopes to choose from. If at all possible, look through as many as you can before purchasing. :)

I AM NEW TO HIGHER END SCOPES BUT I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW GOOD THE SIGHTRON 8-32X56 SIII SERIES IS. HOPE THAT HELPS

What kind of hunting will you be doing? I, too, hunt with a 7mm SAUM. I went with the lightest rifle/scope combination to reduce weight in the mountains. Having killed game out to 500+/- yards, the Leupold 2-7x32 is perfect for that setup. What type of hunting will you be doing?

I put a 6X fixed power Weaver on my hunting rifle. I use a 6-24X Sightron on my casual target rifle. I no longer own a high end target rifle so don't need a high end scope. Although, if money isn't an object, the high end scopes give better performance.

Butch, you are correct sir. To the op,why not a sightron 8-32x56mm.

+1 , Got my SIII for $780 off Ebay and VERY happy with the performance overall, my only gripe is Sightrons' "FCH" reticle which IMO should have meant "ULTRA FINE better have perfect vision cross hair"
