Looking for a new FTR bipod

I just got my new FTR/ sling rifle built using an Eliseo Chassis and Im looking to upgrade my Sinclair Gen II bipod to something nicer. The biggest thing I dont like about the sinclair is how difficult it is to accurately adjust elevation from behind the rifle. The Gen III version is not much better since the little elevation thumb wheel is so small and so far forward. I have messed around with the flex pod, but it is not for me. I am hoping people can chime in with personal experience with the following bipods.
Eliseo HD bipod
Mystic/ EGW bipod
centershot bipod

Any others that people would recommend? My budget is about $250. I am definitely open to picking up something used and in nice shape. Thanks for the help!

Budget and performance considered, the M-Pod is a great choice. If you are considering a Center Shot, be sure to take a look at the Duplin as well.

Stay safe,

Checkout the bipod made bt GNERGY on this forum as another option. It's in your price range, I love mine

Mystic Mpod is my bipod choice. Light, tough as nails and extremely well designed and built.

Warren, glad the MPOD continues to work well for you. Some very fine shooting at the Berger SW.

Congrats on your team shooting too.

GNERGY on this board will take care of you. I have owned 5 of his bipods. I think I have been his guinea pig :o lol. I have only used his Bipods since I started shooting. I own 3 competition ones with different weights now. :) The lightest one I own weights 16.5 oz

If the sled type bi-pods aren't your thing. Check out the FLEX bipod by Dan Pohlabel.

Another vote for GEnergy and his bipods, they fit well in your budget. Also he will work with you in making sure you get what you really need as far as attachments. I have two of his bipods, they are light an built like a tank, also makes for adjusting while in position a snap. No need to preload them an they track. Give him a shot you wont regret it, best of all if you get one and don't like it I might be willing to by it off of you (although I highly doubt you will dislike them)

Memo

I got behind a Flex pod last fall, and it felt really weird to me. I have never been any good when preloading a bipod. In fact, I switched out the feet on my Harris bipod on my "tacticool" rifle for delrin feet so that it would work better when I pulled it into my shoulder instead of preloading it.

Cool Blog Erik!

That looks similar to the Sinclair Gen 1 bipod.

Two bi-pods for me are the best out there for quality of workmanship and easy of use.
Absolutely no flexing like Sinclairs and some others
Remple is heavy 3 lbs
Star Shooter 28oz
Both are made in Canada and the US dollar is worth 1.20 to 1 canadian dollar

Google Star Shooter & Remple

remple is made in Alberta
