looking for a magazine for a Mossberg 42,43 44

That's actually not bad, I seen some other gun clips go for up to $100.00. I would type in the make and model in Gunbroker. You may find one a lot cheaper. Matt

Yeah. If you really want to choke, buy an extra for an Anschutz 22LR or 17HMR.

At one time they were available through the Mossberg collectors group. They work well, I bought a few but they are not inexpensive. $35-$40 each if I remember correctly. They do have the spacer screw that allows you to feed shorts as the original had.

Somewhere in a military warehouse there must be a boatload of 44US magazines that never made it to the CMP.
