How might you do a lever action or even a pump action with out one?

Use a small mirror behind the chamber to boresight the old conventional way.

Used a dental mirror on Garands and M14/M1A rifles.

How might you do a lever action or even a pump action with out one?

Saw a guy this weekend working with a lever action rifle (Didn't notice the make, and didn't ask.) He managed to bull the bolt from it and look down the barrel anyway. I never realized it was an option.

As long as the muzzle is square to the bore, the Wheeler laser is the shizzle.

I’ve boresighted one rifle that wasn’t good. It was a cheapie AR. With a brake/“flash hider”. After I removed the brake, the Wheeler still worked well.
