Looking for a accurate Ar-15 .223 barrel.

Barrel that's accurate and has a good price on it

Depending on how you define accurate and good price, here are my recommendation based on my experience.

Criterion and White Oak Armament make very good barrels that are accurate and reasonably priced

Lilja and Krieger barrels offer better accuracy and cost almost twice as much.

Hey guys I'm looking for a 20 inch 1-8 twist match Barrel that's accurate and has a good price on it. Any recommendations? thx
When I picked up my first barrel for NMC in '94, it was a 7.7" Krieger. Got a HM card and a Shield in about a year with it. You pay for it, but you get very high quality.

If I were going to advise the average shooter starting today, look to one of the button barrels with a 1:8 or 1:7 twist that you can find at a reasonable price. Burn it out learning "positions" and getting your ducks in a row.

Don't laugh too hard, but I have tested a few el-cheapo barrels from a place out east. I have tested 2 that would shoot 1/2MOA @ 100yds. My personal barrel would hold inside 1MOA at 500yds off of a Harris bipod with a rear bag.

https://www.classicfirearms.com/ar-barrel-20-stainless-1in8-heavybarrel-223wylde-nt This is out of stock, but usually 100 bucks.

Either of those 2 barrels should take a person well into the MA class and possibly the HM class.

I have an flat top upper side cocker that I don't use, it was built and it shoots 77 gr. MK's with 8208 in .3 at 100 off a bipod. If you are interest PM me ...... jim
