looking for a 6 mm br

Hello i am from the far norht of scotland .I have been using a 243 heavy barrel for deer and fox for the last 6 years it works great but i have renently been reading alot about the 6mm br and like the sound of the accuracy.I have about 3000 pounds not sure what that is in dollars to spend on a rifle has anybody got any suggestions i like the look of the cooper varminter.thankyou this is a great website.

Why not order a Cooper Phoenix in .243, then get Border Barrels to put on a 10-twist 6BR for you. You could use your existing ammo until the new barrel is ready. The 10-twist could shoot up to the 90gr BTs.

I tell you though, the Berger 80s are wicked accurate, so much so a 12-twist would be tempting too. The Coopers also have a fairly sloopy chamber for the 6BR. You'll want a tighter chamber to get the most from the cartridge.

thanks for showing some intrest am stuggling to find any 6mm br importers in the uk does anyone know who imports coopers they seem to be themost affordable.i am from wick thats right at the top of scotland kcant go much further north.cheers

Expect to wait a long time.My 22 BR cooper has been on order for 8 months and I will not get it untill september.But I would say this is the morm when buying a custom rifle from the USA.

I waited 12 months for my H&S precision pistol in 6 BR.

thanks alot i will give them a fone tommorow at does seem a long wait but what can u do.Nowler i tried mailing you not sure if it worked anyway i am in wick so very far noth what makes 6 mm brs do you shoot and what is an average group size at 100 if you dont mind me asking. I want the 6mm br purely as a precision hunting rifles for fox hoodies and roe deer.
