WANTED Looking for a .338 Lapua Magnum Rifle or Action

I thought I was looking for a CT next, but I think for testing purposes, I might try the .338 Lapua Magnum first.

Before I contribute to capitalistic consumerism and buy a new one, maybe I can solve someone's overcrowding issues? Or give you a good excuse for a new Christmas gift from your SO?

Anyone have a safe queen or NIB or gently used .338 Lapua Magnum rifle lying about?

Also open to actions. And if I go that route, I'll need a barrel and chassis.

Repeater only. This time.

Thanks!

I have a Sako TRG-42 that I have been considering selling. It was originally a 1-12" barrel but I had a Sako factory 1-10" barrel installed because I was told if I wanted to shoot the 300 gr SMK bullets I "needed" a 1-10". It has the factory muzzle brake, an Eric Cortina tuner brake that has never been installed, an extra magazine, the factory bipod and reloading dies. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in.

I really don't know. Seemed to shoot fine with the 1-12". I live at 5,000' and did most of the long range stuff at the Whittington Center which is about 7,000'. Might be more noticeable at sea level. Just guessin'

Gentlemen, apologies for being absent from this thread, apparently "watch thread" is a subjective setting and not an objective setting.

Those are definitely gorgeous guns, and I'm sure they poke holes in targets amazingly, but I will have to put a price ceiling at what I can build a rifle for. Which is $3100 for a magnum clocked action, prefit carbon fiber barrel, carbon fiber chassis, 4lb trigger.
