Looking for a 303 British FL size die body

I saved a old P14 and cut off a 03A3 barrel from a drill rifle weld up for the front end and used the back end of the P14 barrel and screwed them together. Unfortunately my 303 reamer gives birth to .460 base diameter cases and my 303 dies will take them down to .455 range and that is gonna cut brass life way down.

If I could find a spare 303 FL die body I would polish it out to where the base only sized down to .458 to get longer case life.

I don't want to buy a whole set of dies so if someone runs up on a die body for 303 Brit they don't need give me a heads up. I don't need anything but he body. For my use a rusted one would work.

I rigged it up for a walking rifle. Barrel is about 18" and butt stock already shortened and had a recoil pad on it and fits me perfectly. I got several P14 actions years ago with bad barrels so I decided to reincarnate it. The rear sight and ears were already gone so I made it a poor mans Scout Rifle.

So now it is a 30/303 for all practical purposes. I have a 30/303 FL die set made by RCBS which is stamped for 30 cal on end of die but I don't want to mess it up. All it does is size the neck down so 30 cal bullets can be seated.

What you propose may not help a lot if you use American made .303 brass. It is normally .450 to .452 diameter ahead of the rim. So it has a lot of radial stretch to fit a .303 chamber. The PPU .303 brass is usually .454 to .455 to it is a good bit better.fit in the large .303 chambers.
You can even make brass from Hornady .405 cases and they are about .458 or .459 at the head. They are expensive and a good bit of work to make.
Marlin .444 brass is even larger at .466 and is even more work plus they are also hard to find and expensive.

Since you are working with a bolt gun why not try neck sizing with a .308 FL die? They are easy to find

Check ebay as sometimes there are single dies otherwise get the cheapo set from lee and polish it out.

I'm confused , you screwed together 2 different barrels ? How far from the chamber did you thread the 03 barrel ?
Or is just the chamber 303 and the rest 03 . As you see I'm confused .
I always wanted to try having a 2 piece barrel , but I tried to align the rifling .
