Glock 20. I use Underwood Extreme Penetrators as a bear load. I like it because of the hi capacity and relatively light weight for a backcountry sidearm that is grizzly capable. As mentioned, it is larger than other Glocks but still fits my hand and draws fast.

I like my xdm elite 4.5 so much I just ordered the XDM elite osp 3.8.

It's smaller but for EDC 12 rounds of 10mm should be sufficient for any "critter" under 400lb.

I really enjoy my model 40 too. 100 yard plates are just so much fun,15 rounds of 10mm what's not to like?

Guys don't forget to look at the new S&W 610 from Lipseys. It comes in a Mountain Gun configuration and does not have the Clinton Hole. Looks pretty interesting!
