Looking for 9mm bullet

I'm looking for an inexpensive alternate to a 9mm, 124gr Gold Dot bullet for practice.

It would be really cool to find a TC bullet with the same ogive as the Gold Dot so that it no better than the GD when it comes to feeding from the mag.

Would a TC with no radius be a worse case feed wise? If so that would answer the bell.

I prefer jacketed.

They look like this.

The RMR 124gr TC has no radius. The tip may not be large enough.

Thanks!

Both places have what you need.

I carry the 124 Gold Dot and practice with the Precision Delta 124 HP.

The PD 124 is a match bullet, not that great for defense or hunting.

Edit: I am shooting the hollowpoint version of the 124 Precision Delta.

I'll second the PD 124. They have the truncated nose and a round nose version. Great price and free shipping with a 2000 ct order. Also very accurate.

I have not priced Hornady HAPs lately, but they are incredibly accurate in both my 9mm and 38 super. I buy them in boxes with a 500 count.

I just picked up a few 500ct boxes of these Sierra made SIG V-crown 124gr JHP for practice.

They are on sale at Powder Valley right now

Hornady HAPs work great. Hornady also makes a 124grn FMJ for 9mm. Worth a a look. I have loaded and used both over the years.

I have been trying extreme bullets lately.... Like any other especially plated bullets you will of course have to work up a load.... Try RMR bullets also.... I just can't bring myself to use and pay for premium bullets to shoot paper with...

I use the Xtreem heavy plated bullets for practice. They can handle jacketed velocities up to 1500 fps. I use their 124 grain hp bullets so I am as close to me carry load as possible.
