Longshot Camera System -- How Well Does It Work?

Is it bright enough on sunny days or does it need to be shaded?

Never used it pointed/aimed into the sun, so can't say.

Has anyone bought the longshot target camera lr3 lately and had any problems getting the camera to show up on the app...mine connects to the wifi but wont pickup the camera

Like some others, I use an iPad for viewing when shooting. Yes, it helps to shade the iPad. I set up a pop-up canopy over the shooting bench, for shade over the whole thing. Works well until the wind comes up, but I'm usually done shooting by then.

I set the unit up downrange by viewing on my iPhone and then connect the iPad to it back at the bench. Phone is always in my pocket and it saves lugging the iPad downrange. Enough other stuff to carry, in that the "range" has been an abandoned dump landfill so we have to set up our on target stands, etc.
