Who makes a quality cleaning rod longer than 44 inches. I have a tipton 44 inch rod, but it makes contact with the comb before the jag exits the barrels (30 inch).

What caliber? Montana Extreme (Great Rods) make one for a 270 and larger that is 54" and a 56" rod for 338 and larger.

I cut my bore guide down. Was 3" longer than it needed to be. Then a Tipton rod was long enough for a 32" barrel on a Barnard action.
