Hello all. My smithie and I just finished my long action tactical rig. It's a Rem 700LA blueprinted. It's fit to a Krieger 8.5 twist @ 24". PTG built the custom reamer for 180vld's with no turn. The stocks a choate tactical that's bedded out the ***. I used the wyatts dbm system for 300wm with both a ten and five round mag. stock and all metal received cerakote baked on. the trigger received a rebuild with new springs and it's safely set at about 17 ounces. I used a 20moa egw base, vortex tactical rings, and a viper pst 4-16x50 FFP. Just using a caldwell spring bipod. My smith threw on a tactical bolt knob and just finished it all yesterday. I need to hear from you guys who have done something similar with the short mags or anything .284 win. I can't wait to get this thing dialed in. Ive got berger hybrid 180's, matrix 190's, and smk 175's. I've also got a pound each of retumbo, RL25, RL22, H1000, & H4831sc. Please chime in and let me know what you think about loads and your own experience. Any advice would be appreciated.

First, welcome to the boards, second nice looking rifle.
I shoot a straight .284 win with 55.5gr H4831sc. 180 Hybrids do extremly well for me. I've tried several different powders, but never found the low ES and SD I have with 4831.
What type of mags do the Wyatts BM use? If AI, do the WSM's feed well through them? I'm actually debating going to a saum or wsm on a LA savage I have but wasn't sure if the wsm would work in a 300wm AI mag. Thanks.

I have a VERY similar set up. 62.5 gr. H4831 and a 180. Magic.

Here's a 875 yard target with the above load.
Here's two shots on steel at either 1100 or 1200. I don't remember. The impacts are at the tip and the third knuckle of the index finger.
