Long-Range Specialty Handgun for Bench and PD's

SEB-USA

Banned
Here is some pics of my LR bench/pd specialty handgun.
It should track like a dream ;D
It is a Eric Wallace creation: did all the chambering and made the stock and the rails.
Below is a video of his son shooting it.

Nice work, I have an XP that I recently had done, not quite extensively as yours but still a hoot to shoot.

What was the reasoning behind the offset forearm and the block in front of the grip?

Offset is for reducing torque.
The offset block was originally it was an all wood 3" wide base.
When we went to the aluminum tracks 6" front & 3" back he took out the wood that connected the grip to the block.

BTW you have to click on the bottom picture to see the short video.

I was wondering how to see the video---
It sure looks like it tracks very well and the lack of recoil is a plus with a 7mm WSM.
Whats the action colored with ??
Very nice, and I wish you well with it...

Action is either untouched or lightly bead blasted.
Eric still has it, so I can't say for 100% one way or the other.

When I get it I will shoot it using my SEB Rest with a 6" top or something else... :o

Ernie, killer rig for sure, that thing is simply awesome!!!!

Preacherman!!

To watch the vid, click on the last pix and it will take you there..

I sure hope my response was appropriatly clear, concise and without rancor..... :D Oops, maybe I made it "to personal" or singularly towards an individual party by addressing only Preacherman?? ;)

Sorry, not enough coffee and thinking about getting spanked..... ::)

I am pretty proud of it, even though it is still in Eric's hands.
I wanted to show off Eric's work too.
This is a very unique set- in terms of LR shooting and specialty handguns

That's a nice looking pistol. I have no need for one but I want one lol!! How's it shoot for you?

Right now the gunsmith still has it.
He is doing load development on it.
He (Eric) took the pics. He has shot several 3-shot groups in barrel break in so far and everything has been touching to date.

Eric did some more shooting yesterday @ 300 yards and this is a 3-shot group with 168 JLK's.
Measured .512 center to center.
