Long Range Hunting

The Ethic's and Morals for, "Shooting at, stuff" at, L Range Hunting, are getting,.. "Out of, Control"
Shooting at, a LIVE Animal at,. 1507 Yards, IS, Crazy and STUPID !
Yeah, You CAN'T,.. "Rock the Boat" there, OR they'll Throw Your aszz,.. OUT !
It's, a Mean crowd, sometimes ! ( Gotta take them with, a Grain of, Salt And,.. keep,. QUIET ).
Or they, will make you,.. LEAVE

Life goes on they've been had and they know it,metro swat here three years , it doesn't take long to weed out pretenders.Anything north of 400 yards is a poke on a living critter, now cardboard sheets is another story.

the nice thing about this post is that now we have fax's. there have been a bunch of u tuber's doing
ethical game shots. Erik Cortina, the ultimate reloader , to name a few and there's more . they
bring in very kind of shooters guides long range shooter's with high end gun's awesome guns !!!
and about 95 % fail at 500yds. I've been hunting a long time 50 + years lots animals .
never any over 450yds I was a bow to so if i can't get under 500yds something wrong.
last couple years with all this talk about long range hunting I thought why. am I shooting long range
bullets in my I shot a 7wsm , 7mag, 6.5 Creedmoor so I went back to my roots I'm shooting lighter
bullets in all my rifles . do what you want to .but for me last few years that I have hunt is going to be 500 yds and under and shots that I know that I can make! good luck to all this hunting season .old rick

You are spot on , my guide on the last year pronghorn shot was reluctant to have me shoot at north of 400 yards, because of the high amounts of misses he encounters for clients. I told him it's my money,and after locking down in the bog pod,I made a perfect shot see above photo,the 270, 170 grain Berger elite hunting round dropped him in his tracks,I had practiced all summer with a spotter.

That looks like an older Rem 700, those older factory made 270 Win right out of the box always shot extremely well.

I have a friend with a Rem 700 BDL custom deluxe from the mid 70's and that thing shoots so good.

I wholeheartedly agree with you,but don't disagree on the forum Long Range Hunting, you'll catch a ban, the site is amateur hour for the most part. 605 yards is a great shot most couldn't do it,that distance is a poke doesn't matter what caliber is used.I caught my ban and wear it as a badge of honor, it tells me what I already knew ,I caught some at their BS, and they just couldn't handle it.I dared to disagree when they posted about a kid who shot a pronghorn at 1507 yards with a 6.5 cm,ain't happening ,I took 2 prongs in 4 years and my furthest was north of 400 yards a long shot.Good shooting at 605 no need to prove anything more.

Fat fingers sorry. I got banned on LRH because I called someone out as a poacher. Whatever, it isn't a professional or knowledgeable site. I'm also tired of the 1500 yard shot with a 6.5 CM. It's retarded. The CM is a nice little SA cartridge, nothing more nothing

Less. Damn my fat fingers. My 605 shot was with a 7 wsm 168 Berger. And, I practiced alot. Shot a 6" group at 1000.
