Long Range Alley 1000yd F-class match info

Just checked the forecast for tomorrow, 30% chance of rain with a high of 90 degree. Toasty but not brutal, see you boys in the morning!........

Looking forward to a good turn out. See everyone down there in the morning. We have the pop up tents for the shooting berm and a fan for the pits. Should not be too bad.

Yes, they are being held the third Saturday of each month at LRA. The matches are sponsored by Long Range Shooters of Louisiana. We meet at the 1000 yard berm at 7:30 am. paperwork is completed at that time and relay assignments are given. May 19th was our first NRA sanctioned match. It went very well despite the wind and warm temperatures. June 16, 2018 is our next match. If you have any questions you can reach Ric Clark at the LRA office at 318-458-5875. Look forward to seeing everyone out there.

Found out about this a little too late to schedule the time off but I'm going to try to get up there for the next one. I don't have 1000 yrd set-up but wouldn't mind seeing what y'all doing and get ideas to put one together.

Thanks to the crew at Long Range Alley for a good match. Nice meeting/shooting with new folks as well. Tricky range to shoot. Look forward to shooting there again.........:)

I really enjoyed the match. IMO it was well organized and excecuted, particularly being only the second registered match put on there. I will be back definitely.

Robin, I thought the same thing as far as it being well organized for just getting started with F-class matches. Definitely a range that'll keep you on your toes wind wise. Good hanging out with you and your dad Saturday, see y'all at the next match.......:)

I tried to find where LRA posts result but no joy. Actually I hope they keep my scores hidden...at least the first match:oops:

I looked too. I am home every other month. I will be at the July match. My wife has a home in Alex will probably retire there in a couple years. Look forward to meeting y'all.

Must have been a scorcher!!!! David, you must have had a malfunction in M-3...hope all is OK. Congrats to Jade on the F-TR win.

Robin

Thanks Robin, yes, it was hot. When we left the range the temp guage on my truck was saying 100 degree.......

Sure hoping they can get a two day Louisiana long range championship match going next year at this range. That would be fun.......:)
