Long Range (600 and 1000 Yards) BenchRest at Byers, CO. Come On Out

If you have ever had an interest in long range benchrest shooting at 600 or 1000 yards come join us outside of Byers Colorado at the Colorado Rifle Club. Our next match will be held on Sunday the 20th of May 2018, at 0800. This competition will be 600 yards. Please plan on being there a few minutes early for a shooter safety briefing.

We always enjoy shooting with new folks, so I would like to invite anyone with an interest to come on out and shoot with us. Our benches and pits are some of the nicest you'll find anywhere. We would be happy to show you our equipment, answer any questions. I would even load some extra ammo for anyone who would like to give it a try. Also, we will waive the match fees for any first time shooter that comes out.

I am not sure when they started back up. I have been going out to Byers for 4 years now and Nate, match director, does a great job and volunteers a lot of his time. So, please come on out we would love to see new shooters or previous ones.

I shot my first 1K Nationals at Byers and I was lucky to have drawn the second relay and the bench next to Terry. This was my first major competition and I must have asked Terry 10 questions between targets...and he had nothing but time to answer each one.
