Long Gong Challenge ?

Long Gong has really taken off seems like ! any new shooters here doing it ? I have only done it twice but really liked it and wish I could find one closer to me but 4 hour drive makes for a long day . I am closer Lubbock Amarillo area and wonder if anyone is doing matches close to there . Even in Oklahoma area ?

I have put on three Long Gong matches so far. Getting good attendance about 20 shooters.
Here are some things we have learned
-make sure people know that you need to come up 14 mil’s or 45 moa give or take
-encourage shooters to get on target if you have a 36 inch gong prior to the match ( we spend an hour getting people on the 36 inch plate prior to the match
-More spotters the better
-20 shooters two targets sets around three hours

We shot our first one last week--It was a Blast !! And..you don't need Center X or fancy ammo--I shot some odd batch of Pistol match SK green and did well--it is all about the wind calls period!
If you get a chance do one--it was real fun
