I have a 280 F class that will be done in 2 weeks. Would like some help with some loads with H4831sc and H4350 just looking for a starting point.
Thanks for the help. Bob I will shooting Berger 180 Hybrid

in my improved, i think i started with 55-56 gr 4831sc with 215m primers ended up going a little higher in charge with the 180's to get it shooting better.

I shoot LR Prone with a standard 280. My chamber is very long throated and I shoot moly'd bullets. My go to match load is 58.5 gr. H4831sc with a Wolf LR primer. Obviously, all barrels are different. Start 55.? and work up. With a 31" barrel this load gets 2, 867 fps and shoots well. Does not flatten edge of primer. Not hard on brass.

Thanks for help guys.

i had a Question also. i've been using 215m primers in mine, however i have a brick of cci lr primers, and was wondering what the general consensus is as to what you guys would shy towards. ive gotten mine shooting pretty good, but i have not messed with primers yet.

I have a 7X64 Brenneke which is pretty much the same as a 280 Rem and the CCI BR-2 has been the best for me. I have used the 215M in magnums but never needed the with cases in the 280 capacity class.
