Loads for 20 Practical, 1-9 twist barrel. Have 40 grain Vmax bullets.

What primers you end up using? I use 450's most of the time.

Edit- Also use 7 1/2's, Tula SRM, 205's whatever groups best.

Also the 34g Nosler FBHP slash Midsouth Varmint Nightmare Extreme slash Midway Dogtown makes a good budget (8 cents per retail) PD load for short range. 4100+ easy. A challenge past 200 yds if the wind kicks up though,

I think that bullet has a negative BC ;)
******

Negative BC....luv it. ;-))

i use 8208 and benchmark on the 40's and 32's. 3850 is hot for the 40's in a 1-11 twist. and 4150 is hot in the 32 with the 32's. I just got back from South Dakota and got to watch one explode in the scope at 890 yards. the wind does play with them a bit, but the elevation of the impacts is very consistance. Love my windplex in the VXIII

try vv130 i tried in my 20 tactical with 32 v max one hole groups at 100 using 24.5gr found the vv133 very hit miss load development so went little faster powder hit the hotspot 1st go with help quickload ill try 40 v max next

The killer loads in mine are 22.7 LT32 and Federal A/R primer with LC brass and a 39 Blitz King. I used 22.3 LT32 with the 40 V-Max. Have fun on your trip!

Tac, Exterminator, N133 couple my choices made no application yet.
Small groups to you!
Go getem!
Have fun from all us "reactive target" fans.
Merry Christmas

I tried n133 and 8208 with 39gr sierra and found them both to be accurate but as I approached the faster loads, the n133 showed pressure signs well before the 8208. Remarkably, 5x5 groups using two different powders and several different charge weights averaged 0.63” and all groups under 0.75”. Gotta love those shilen barrels.

What primers were you using when you experienced pressure signs?

I was using CCI BR-4 primers in all cases. Chronoed using labradar so with my rifle/load combo 8208 definitely seems to have higher velocity potential at similar accuracy levels, so that’s what I went with. But as usual YMMV.

Edited to add: same rifle, same session, same conditions throughout the testing. Dtech upper with 22” medium contour shilen select match barrel.

I'm using the same primers with R-P range brass, max load with 40s different brands was 23.0 of N133, AR and bolt gun.

Another Benchmark fan. Meters through my Dillon so that's a plus as well. Anyone notice Benchmark is getting harder to find in the last 4 months??
