Loading the 6mm/22-250

I have been shooting this cartridge for a year or so, and really like it. Started with Varget, moved to R15, and finally settled on VV N160 due to the fact that it fills the case nicely,and shoots well). I am getting tired of the supply problems with VV through my local supplier,Sinclair). I would like to change to another more readily available powder, something with a case fill like N160. Any suggestions?

I don't think its the local suppliers, having the problem with the V/v powders. My uses of 135 have diminshed because of lack of availability here locally which is frustrating after working up a load. whats funny is it comes in spurts, they are out for a month and then have 15-20 lbs and then its gone againTry buddies in neighboring areas. Unfortunately its a little hard here in Alaska and most places won't ship powder in the mail/UPS to Alaska Good Luck

It's a local supply problem if you consider the entire US the locality. There is a pretty consistant supply problem to this country of VV powders. It's been many months for some of the more popular ones.

I wasn't blaming Sinclair. I was trying to keep my post short.

When I was at Sinclair last week, two of their fellows had just returned from Kansas City a few days earlier where they had met with the VV US rep. I heard the whole story about the situation with VV powder, and there "supposed" dedication to getting more product into the US. The Sinclair fellows, friends and members of the same shooting club)were not to convinced that anything would change. That is why I want to change powders.

While VV is a great powder if you cant get it when you need it its a problem. I use AA4350 in my 6mm/250 with molied SMK 107s.
