Loading manual suggestions?

I dont think youre going to find a manual with the bra in it. However do a search here or ask and there should be lots of load data, the guys on here are helpful. I dont have a bra or I would help. I'm a dasher guy

Ya I've looked at that, but since I'm just starting out and never loaded before, I was hoping to find some literature that was put out by in a manual ...but I guess I'm not going to find it that way being a wildcat round.

Finding that appears to be a little tough... I would try Sierra for sure... Just remember you can't have to many reloading manuals... Since I load for a couple of different cartridges I like the Sierra , Hornady and even have a Speer manual around here.... I like to check the data from whatever bullet manufacturer I am useing... IE Hornady bullet , Hornady manual etc...

A quick glance at the Lyman 50th Edition, the Hornady 10th Edition, and the Berger 1st Edition... nope, no 6BRA data. Sorry.

I'd urge caution when working with a wildcat round on your first effort at the loading bench. They'll bring some additional considerations to the party, over and above your typical SAAMI-spec cartridges.

Best of luck!

Although I would not attempt on my first endever into reloading look through this thread.

6BRA not sure ?
I am sure if your New to Loading a Old Speer #8 Manual will help and same your Butt.
You will run into strange thing ! The Trouble Shooting Covers things not found in New Manuals.

Best of Luck

No, I have never loaded anything
I have yet to see 6BRA loads in print.

In broad strokes I recommend you take 6BR Norma loads and know you can go a little higher. Start with Alpha 6BRA brass and turn the necks to fit your chamber. Find a mentor who will walk through each step safely in person. You will need good loading tools like comparators, micrometers, calipers, and a well suited full length sizing die.

The mentor is crucially important because the loads you will find out there or on this site are usually match rifles with extremely well controlled loading techniques. Do not mimic those loads as if they come from a loading manual. Start low (using. 6BR data is plenty low) and work up gradually until you see pressure signs or find a good load.

When you get the basics down you can consider fire forming brass from Lapua or Peterson 6BR brass but honestly I wouldn’t bother if I were you. Alpha, Lapua, Peterson are all excellent quality and durability.

If you are going to fire form your brass using 6BR Norma brass I have used 29.5 gr of Varget with either a Winchester SR or Remington 7 1/2 with a Nosler 105 or Berger 105 Hybrid with no pressure signs in my 6BR Norma. Some guys go to 30 grains and like what they get. There is an excellent article on the Home Page of Accurate Shooter on the 6BR and lots of load information which would be good for deciding on a fire forming load or a starting point for a BRA load you could work up from. Best of luck.
