Hello All
This is a great forum. I really like the topics and responses I'v read and all of the very helpful info here.:thumb: That said...
I'm puting together a 6 X 45 using a 20" Lilja 3 groove 1-7" Hvy barrel and would like to have some input on what bullets are the best choice for mag length loads and what loadings are best for the 107 gr Sierra as a single feed. Has anyone tried the new 95 gr Sierra MK? Can I get it into a mag length load w/o giving up too much powder volume? I'm hoping to find something that uses H335, Varget or possibly 748 as I have lost of these powders on hand but am not opposed to buying something else if I get overwhelming recomendations. After reading Milnuk's post on RE-15 I'm not keen on it so far. I regularly load for .222,.223, 250-Sav.Ack.Imp,6.5-284,7X57,.308, and 30-338 so I do have some-what of experience at the reloading bench.
I would useually start from scratch and try several bullets and powders until I found something I like but w/ the cost of fuel and bullets these days I feel real lucky to even be getting a new upper for the `ol AR.
Thank You for Any and All help
