Anyone had any dealing with a 257 AI?? If so what loads seem to work best ??

No specific load data, but, with 100 -115 Gr. bullets, try H-4831 and/or, RL-17 - the latter produces a 200+ FPS increase in MV over the former, but doesn't group quite as well. Still, via my custom rigs (#3 contour, 23", 1:10" twist PacNor barrels), 5-shot groups [RL-17] at 100 Yd., average 0.5" . . . pretty decent hunting accuracy.
Without excessive pressures, using 110 Gr. bullets, my Lot of RL-17 produces MV s a little north of 3330 FPS, while the old 'stand-by' load of H-4831 runs just short of 3100 FPS. The latter shoots [100 Yd.] five-shot groups a full 0.1" smaller . . . but so far, none of the coyotes or, mule deer have argued over the shot placement, so with this cartridge, and the hunting rigs, I have opted for the extra velocity. ;D RG

My son has a factory Ruger 257 Roberts that was re-chambered with a AI reamer. It's no BR rifle but with loads from the re-loading manuals it will shoot the 120 grain speer bullet driven with a stout load of RL-19 .750 at 100 yard's and 75 grain v-max with a stout load of H-4831 under .500 at 100 yards without having to change the scope so it is a pretty universal rifle for him, he packs both and if a varmint pops up he whacks it with a 75 grainer and game animals with the 120's
