Any one have experience and success with the Nosler 80 gr Custom Competition?

I have a 223 bolt gun with a Kreiger 8tw barrel and want to load heavier bullets

I've been using 748 for my 223's but not wedded to it

Appreciate some input

Considering the current developments of supply, what powders do you have access to. This will help in pointing you in a good direction if your desire is to move away from Win748:

I've loaded some of the Nosler CC 69's for my AR and shot very well with Varget. I use Varget to push my 80gr Bergers out of a 28" 1/7 Shilen barrel, which shoots sub MOA at 500 meters. Never liked the Win 748 in anything I tried it in. There are much better choices out there.

my 1x7 twist savage loved the nosler 80 grainers with federal 205 primers and 24 grains of h4895. 1.975" to ogave using the hornady bullet comparator. as always work your way up slowly.
