Load for Sierra 95 SMK & Lapua 90 Scenar?

I am sort of new to the 6BR, so I seek help. 1;9 Kreiger, trued Rem 700 SA by a local gunsmith, no turn neck; Bell & Carlson Medalist stock, Bushnell 4200 8-32 X, Lapua brass with Lee collet necksized. Have H4895, Varget & RL 15. BR4 and Fed 205M's.Bullets seated to just kiss the lands. Cannot get better than 1.5 inch 4 shot gps at 200 yards. Cannot find suggested loads for the above two bullets. Help? Thanks/ Chaz

Chaz,
I'm sorry I can't give you more specific charge data, but I shoot a 6mm AR as opposed to the 6BR. Having said that, the capacity is very close, so you will at least have somewhere to start. I have tried all the powders that you mentioned, and I'd predict that the H-4895 will be your best performer. Every rifle is different,,mine is AR-15based) but my combination of Lapua brass, Wolf SR mag. primer, 27.5+ of H-4895 and a 90 gr. Berger loaded to magazine length for XTC gives me .3-.5 MOA with boring regularity.
As always, the normal disclaimers apply. Start at least 10% lower and work up.
I hope this helps,
Lloyd

Hi Loyd/ I called Sierra about their 95 gr and they said it will NOT stabilize in a 1:9 twist. Interesting........I called Mr. Robinette at BIB bullets & he says his 95 is IDEAL for my 1;9. Thanks for taking the time to help out. I'm hoping someone else out there will look down kindly on my request for help and assist a newbe/ Chcz

Not sure where Sierra is coming from with that data but the 95gr SMK stabilize just fine in my 10 twist 6br out to 1000 yards. I am very green to Long range shooting and have had a best of just under 6" at 1000 for 5 shots. This was after about my forth time shooting at that range. Most of the days I have tried were with winds that were VERY strong.

As a matter of fact they stabilize in my factory Rem 700 243 Win with a 9.25" twist out to 500 yards no problem.

Slightly puzzled with that comment.
