Load Development Result of 185 LRBT vs Hybrid

I'm running Berger 185gr LRM, Lapua brass, 44.1gr of Varget, 30" 1-10 twist Krieger and getting 2730fps. This combination will seriously molest a 1/4MOA spotter at 600 yards is the wind is down. E.S is 10, S.D. 3.4 for a ten shot string.

With the proper freebore 2800fps is doable running Varget/Lapua. I do know a member who's on the national team that is looking for H4895 so there may well be some magic pixie dust there... ;D

I load for group size first, E.S is secondary.

I guess some things work for some and not others. Might differ with different caliber rifles too. I was referring mainly to C. Ballard and his article where he says
I don’t primarily shoot for groups. The only goal I have is to obtain the lowest ES and SD I possibly can. Holding elevation in F-Class is crucial. Uniform velocity gives me more consistent vertical point of impact.
