any of you guys have load data for 308 hammonds ? 30-8mm rem mag.
found one page on web for 30-8mm rem mag, but not much variaty.
looking for 1000 yd load 30 inch barrel. the only load i have tried is 85 grns 4831 under 175 mk. shoots a bug hole at 100 think its about 3200 fps did not chron. would like to go heavier 200-220 with maybe h1000

85gr of H1000 with a 208gr A-Max is a good load to start with, or 85.5gr with a 200gr SMK. Winchester primers and prepped cases.

thanks rookie, 85 grns of 4831 leaves plenty of room for some extra powder, dont know how dense the h1000 will be, if there's extra room in the case i'll work it up a little at a time.

These aren't max loads. I played with this cal. back when the 7STW came out and then the 300 Jarret. I was spending more on barrels than bullets.
Now days I just shoot a 300win mag.
