Load data using cfe 223, for an ar and .308

So not really new to reloading, I've been doing it for some time now and learned a lot from my dad. He always stuck with the same type of powder. After I started I had to go my own way and found types that worked great in my rifle's. The past few year's I've been using Varget for my ar-15 as well as .308. And as of late Varget is a little hard to come by. So saw some load data on Hodgen's website. And i'm just wondering has anyone here used CFE 223 for both those rounds. I'm also wondering about chamber pressure on the Ar-15. one of the loads they showed seemed to be pretty high (psi). any info you guy's have will help me a lot thanks

No problems with CFE223 in ARs in 204, 223, or 308 for me. Decent performance and occasionally you get lucky and it is above average. I don’t use it for cold climate hunting or competition loads, but it does very well in the context of bulk loading by automatic methods for things like PD loads.

I use it in both rounds. All of my "bulk" 223 ammo for my AR is loaded with CFE and 60 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips, and I love it for that because of how much better it meters through the powder measure than Varget.I have used it for 308,and it's ok,but I can't get the accuracy from it in any of my 3 308's that I get with Varget. The best round I use it for is the 22-250.A less than max load of it pushes a 52 grain A-Max a little over 3900 and is very accurate.Talk about groundhog poison...now if there just were any groundhogs.
