Has anyone tried CFE 223 in a 300 wsm? I'm looking for some data with 150 gr sp's. I tried H4350 behind a 165 fb sp with ugly results. I see varget and h380 listed in data, so it seems CFE 223 might work ? ( can't get much worse). The CFE is something I have on hand, and I'm stuck using the components I have on hand to help a friend. Looking for a safe place to start.

In my savage model 12 vld dbm I started with RL22 right out of the Sierra manual with the 180 game king. Breaking in the barrel the 8th, 9th and 10th rounds cut the same hole. I did not have good luck with 165s at 300 Mag impact velocities so I did not try 150s. Others I have had talked also like RL22, it also meters very nice.
