Load data for 7mm-08

I bought sierra TGK 140 grain bullets
#4540 and can’t find load data anywhere for it? Any suggestions would be appreciated . I am looking to shoot in 7mm-08 and 7mm wsm.

There is load data for 140gr bullets on hodgdons reloading data website, I see at least 15ish different powders

IF, ... you are loading with H4350

I've had good results at around 47 grains, a little more or less, with Berger and Nosler 140 gr pills and CCI BR-2 primers.

Work up to that using care.

Me too 47-48 grs h4350 in 7-08 with 140 gr bullet. Have seen 42 grs of Varget do well also. Just work up gradually.

In my 7/08 with 140 gr bullets, H100V, StaBal 6.5 and WW760 work great. H100V and WW760 will get you appx 2935 ft/sec from a 24" barrel and StaBal will get you appx 3000 ft/sec. Be careful with StaBal as I found it to spike very fast when getting close to max. JME

How many grains are you running?

Shooting 140 class bullets in the 7/08, Varget or powders around that
burn range work better then the slower mid range powders. Berger
140 Hunters really liked Reloder 15.5 when it came out. Not as temp
stable but, Reloder 17, and anything Sierra gave me what I was looking
for in the 150 class bullets. All my work was dedicated to 24" or less
hunting rifles shooting 1/2 MOA.......

Those TGKs are hard, so you will need to push them to maximize their performance.

Pretty much any powder from N140 to H4350 on the burn rate chart will work just fine. For comparable data, I would use Nosler's data for 140s as the composition of the TGK is similar to the Accubond.

Thanks for the help

Well I d say 280 Rem velocities with a 24” 7-08 has to be high, high pressure …. Even with 26” barrel those have to be 62-65K PSI … anyone with QL ?
