Load Data for 6mmBR, Dasher

I've been out of Powder since last May 2013.

I've just found some Hodgdon Leverevolution Powder, and some IMR 8280 XBR. If you have any load data in using these powders for the 6mm BR or Dasher for a 1/8 TW, 30" Bbl. 105 / 107 gr bullets I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks once again for your help in this quest.

I have a friend who shoots 28.7grs of IMR 8208 in his 6mmBR with 105gr Scenars.. He states that it is not too fast, but it is VERY, VERY accurate..

Thanks Ben! I appreciate the info, do you happen to know what primer he's using with it as well.

Thanks!

Thanks Paul for the info. I've got a couple of Remington SA SS Bolts that I need to send off to you for Fluting. I'll be back in town around the 15th, will get ahold of you then for details.

Thanks!

Steve,

I'm having good success with the 80 grain Berger Match Varmint and 26.7 grains of 8208 - get right around 2770 fps and it's accurate at 100 yards (VFS). CCI 450s and Lapua 6BR Norma brass without anything done to it other than clean up the necks (right at 0.0125). Loaded round is 0.268 and I use either a .266 or a .267 bushing in my Redding.

My 6BR (Shilen 8-twist ratchet rifled) doesn't seem to be too particular about load (45 clicks to 48 clicks on my Harrels), seating depth (jammed to .030 off), and neck tension. I'm sure I could do a LOT better if I spent more time fiddling with this, but it shoots good enough for my needs.

YMMV of course.

Hello Dennis, I really appreciate the information. That is what makes this sight really great, people like you willing to share information that have a need to know about these type of options. Especially in times that we are into now where we look for different types of powders to use.

Thanks once again.
