Always told my daughters that a dab of bacon grease behind the ears and Hoppes sprayed as a mist would catch them the right kind of men.

Years ago I was talking to an old-time shooter who said when he wanted to turn his wife on, he put a dab of Hoppes #9 behind each ear.

Sandwich bags are a lot cheaper than freezer bags.

I don't know about that -- I come from the generation and economic class who washes and re-uses zip-loc bags. I suppose I could justify it if the bag has been used two or three times previously.

I haven't thrown out ammo plastic in years. And for rifle I use the MTM boxes.

I rarely buy factory rifle and I reload pistol. I use the pistol ammo boxes for my reloads and encourage others too.

I was brought up middle class but my Mom saved everything. She saved bread bags. Even had bread bags full of bread bags. Used them in case she wanted to give a few veggies to neighbors. I reuse ziplock bags sometimes. Small difference in saving and hoarding!

My first waterproof boots, bread bags over my socks inside dept store Pac boots. After telling mom my feet got wet.

those ziplock bags just seem in fine condition first use i hate to toss them. i do save about anything else to i will use for something sometime…

I still use bread bags over my socks and under my boots when deer hunting if it gets really cold. Bread bag = vapor barrier = the sweat in your socks can't evaporate and chill your feet. When you take everything off when you get home, your socks will be soaked, but because the sweat couldn't evaporate, your feet stayed warm all day.
