@tommeboy is right, but before you buy a new set of dies, try seating a bullet without the die set to crimp. If the bullet doesn't shave lead, your die itself is fine and you only need to buy another die for crimping only. He is also right that the LEE Factory crimp dies aren't a good match for lead bullets. The dies are meant to 'iron out' the final loaded round - bullet and all - for guaranteed fit into chambers. Since most lead bullets are slightly oversize by design, the die will size them down too.
