list of 20 scopes with LIFETIME & TRANSFERABLE warranties(OK to buy used)

list accurate as of 5 minutes ago. if anyone has other results please add here with LINK. please limit comments to topic and not conjectures about how you will never need/want any other scope. optical & tecnological changes will only accelerate and we all will pant after the latest & greatest. guys are visually driven, think women. hard wired that way. for reasons NOT to buy a used scope w/o these 2 factors see preceeding posts. so here goes; YES: zeiss, nightforce, premier heritage, votex, burris, leupold, nikon, USO------NO: S & B, IOR, Bushnell, sightron, swaroski, meopta, kahles, leica, minox, trijicon, pentax, march.

When did the March scope get a lifetime warrenty?"
Last i heard from owners and kelby . The warrenty was for the original owner and for only 5 years.

ooops i ddin't see the break' Sorry for the comment :-[
I can honestly say one thing Leupold is top notch and no questions unless you played with it. Two really good scopes come to mind also that i have had Zero trouble with . The B&L 36X and the Weaver 36.
Maybe i just got lucky.

good info, however I've been disappointed in the nikon monarchs recently, great warranty, just wish they were as nice as the bushnell 6500's, Dont understand why bushnell wont put a lifetime warranty on their scopes, haven't heard that many issues with them so I'm not sure what the deal is.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Sightron have a transferable lifetime warranty?

Sightron does offer a transferable lifetime warranty.

Also, IOR offers a lifetime transferrable warranty. I just got a loaner 6-24x56FFP scope for review and it says so right there in the paperwork. One quirk is that they want the original receipt to be present, so if you buy a used IOR ask the seller to give the original receipt.

Somewhere earlier in this thread, there is a note that Bushnell does not offer a lifetime warranty for the Elite 6500 scopes. That is incorrect. The warranty is lifetime, but I do not remember if it is transferrable or not. I think it is not, but I am not 100% certain.

Looking at the original post, I think there are some inaccuracies:
-Meopta offers a lifetime transferrable warranty on products sold in North America. If memory serves me right it is stated quite explicitly on their website
-Minox has a lifetime warranty on their riflescopes and I think it is transferrable, although I need to check (I'll shoot an e-mail to my contact at Minox).

my initial post was accurate as to the exact time as all distributors were called and sites checked for warranty information before posting. nothing was left to chance or rumor and this was true for every manufacturer. sincerely desired that there would be our feedback, customer calls to them, to re-evaluate their policies. as Ilya has written this may have worked.
