Lightest pull weight 10/22 trigger?

I installed a Kidd singled stage, in my 1022, yesterday. After a bit of tweaking it breaks at an average (of 10 pulls) pull weight of 15.6 oz. And, yes it does pass the bump test.

I have both Single and Two Stage Kidd Triggers installed. The hunting/walk-about guns have the Single Stage units and all break at a clean 2 lb - 8 oz. The guns that go on the bench have the Two Stage Triggers and break at 8/8 oz.

IMO, all money well spent and would do it again. PLUS Kidd is a great outfit to deal with. My limited experience with their Customer Support should be the standard other companies aspire to.

I have about 3Kidd triggers and NOTHING can beat them.In my opinion they are the gold standard. Yes they’re expensive but they’re worth every penny! Buy one and don’t look back .

Just a clarification on the single stage pull weight setting. I only use this rifle for bench rest shooting. I agree with WileyC that a walk around rifle trigger should be in the 2 to 2 1/2 lb range.

I am running two 10/22's for Benchrest.. both were ordered in the 3&3 configuration.. but when you receive them.. they are set at like 4.5 oz on each stage without being able to feel the distinction between the stages.. i now can feel the different stages and they are much lighter.. i think on one the second stage is pretty close to 2 oz.. lets put this way.. think about it and it is gone!

The Kidd 2 stage will change the lock time for 10-22. It is as fast as a bolt gun. I gave a 3oz/3oz and a 8oz/8oz. All of them are fully adjustable up to 1.25lb /1.25 lb.

Just to throw something else in there, I have a Jard and it is very nice. Not sure the weights they have available though.

Edit: just checked their site and can't find the 10/22 trigger anymore

I have one of the original Jewells. Arnold quit making them when Ruger wouldn't sell him the housings anymore. Beside my BR and hunting triggers, I've had his AR trigger and an early Savage trigger.
Arnold told me that the Kidd was the best that he has seen.

Yeah.. my Jewel AR two stage trigger was great till it gave up the ghost..

I'm cheap and I bought the Kidd "Trigger job kit" for my 10-22. I was so impressed with it, I later bought a barreled action from them. They are that good.
