No experience with a spring yet but if a primer hits the floor here in N C it can most likely be found somewhere on the West Coast. It has always amazed me how far a spring or primer can bounce when it lands on carpet. Even if you see it land between your feet.
Or under the tool box which sits lower than the bench in my case. And, why does everything bounce under the bench?
I am still looking for the check ball out of a Rem 700 trigger i lost in 1989 +/- Tommy McFor anyone who has ever spent 2 minutes to launch a spring that took only (hopefully) 4 hours to find (if at all).![]()
LOLI lost a few contender latch springs over the years, GONE lost forever bought new ha, couple of years later while cleaning off the TOP of the work bench there they were laughing at me, I completely tore apart the room at least three times fixed a magnet to a dowel nota zip, I knew when I found them they were still chuckling. Did not tear apart the top because who ever heard of a spring landing in an easy to find spot
