Light Gun ELR, how much Zoom required on scope?

Hi All,

Trying to pick brains of other ELR shooters on this.

How much zoom do you use for targets between 2000-2400, and those between 2400-3000 yards?

What is the minimum mag required on a light gun ELR scope in your opinion?

I use a 4.5x29 and mostly am on 20-27ish depending on mirage.
I’ve done a good amount of 2000-2500 yard shooting with a 4x16 Hensoldt and spotted hits and misses in good conditions but definitely prefer more.

ok...I have been shooting with an 18x till now and definitely felt it to be lacking beyond 2000 yards...I will slap on my 7x35 atacr for upcoming matches.
