LGS 1911

I am working up the road a piece in Jupiter Florida and stopped in the gun shop out in Jupiter farms. Asked if he had a stainless steel 1911. He says no but about ten minutes later comes out with a Springfield ss 1911 that can't be told from a new one. He has this gun on consignment and says gun , background check, state sales tax, out the door $725. Its a little too shiny for me, I wanted ss so as not to have to worry about rust too much. Its so highly polished it looks like chrome. What say you all too much money, or OK?

It seems about right. I use Gunbroker to get the current “feel” for the market. Try negotiating? I included a pic of the Sig Sauer Nightmare. I have one and it’s a fine, well built piece. Stainless but coated. Not so “shiny”, but what’s wrong with shiny? You could always hit it with rattle can black.
