Leupold vx3 handgun on ebay?

Ive been trying to find a matte black one, and 1000$ on ebay seems crazy. Is this just what their going for now? Used I always remembered them being around 350-400$. Ive tried burris, didnt care for them. Ive got two of the leupold handgun scopes and love them. Should I just grin and bear it and pay 1000$?

Read your post. Looked on Ebay and found the high prices you mentioned, but it appears the $999 ones are all offered by the same seller.

Looked on Natchez site - no Leupold in stock.
Looked on Scopelist - no Leupold in stock.
Looked on Midway and Midsouth - no Leupolds.
Looked on Leupold's website - no Pistol scopes listed at all.

After reading that, Im not opposed to a holographic or reflex. Could be an option. Its on a 35 rem and would be 100 yards max on whitetail.

You might lose a little shooting time due to low light. I have a Contender Super 14 .222 and I think I'm going to pay the tax, SBR it, and use a rifle scope.

Lots of Leupold's at CDNN sports. don't know if they are what you are looking for, or if they are a good buy. But they usually are fair with their stuff, and are worth a look.
