Leupold VX-6 7-42x56 Scope Question

I am considering getting this scope for the upcoming Fclass season.

If anyone has this scope, can you let me know how many MOA per revelation of the turret? Is it 10 MOA per revelation like March/Nightforce/Sightron scopes?

If not, might be a deal breaker.

Thanks in advance.

I like mine,Its very repeatable at 1000 yards. I was taking it from my H.G. To my L.G. and there was a difference of three complete revolutions and at a 1000 it was right on the money every time. The price tag is a little high, but as long as there is a lifetime warrant even your grand kids will be able to get it fix, if anything happens to it. Can't remember who but there was a guy that had trouble with his , don't know how he made out.

This was one of three finalists in my search for a follow-on to my beloved NF NXS 12-42X56. If you go read my review of the March scope that I ended up getting, you will see that the Leupold you are considering is an excellent choice, on which no flies can be found, so to speak.

It has the 56mm objective I wanted as a minimum, it has the 34mm body with the limit adjustment range denoting, or implying bigger internal lenses for better clarity and brightness and the maximum power was in the range of what I wanted. Its weight is only 26 ounces and that weight brought it in as the runner-up to the March in my selection, as the S&B was way too heavy for an F-TR scope.

The Leupold is also $1,000 less than the March scope.

I had one last year and it was broken out of the box sent back to leupold for repair and I got it back broken. I return that one they sent me a new one and it was broken too. Just check the side focus. I Hope they have fixed the problem by now.

Willbas but did you get one of the new ones, I've heard they done some real changes. Hope you got a good one this time!

no I got a Nightforce Comp I shot 445 out of 450 at a 300 yard reduce palma match that let us f-class shooters in using MR-63FC targets

Great I own a few Nightforces myself. But the Leupold is still working, I'll put it through some more tests this spring. Good luck with your shooting.

I think I missed something here. You shot a 300 yard match with a 55x scope and called it "Palma"? :(

The match is called Reduce Palma but all hi power rifles are welcome, Service, Match, Palma, F-TR ,and F Open just the target is change for each class.

if u want to save money on one and u can get to one ovf the top seller shops they can deal I got mine for 1600

I have the VX-6.

I love it. I sold a NF 12-42 NXS to move over to the Leupold. So far it's been on a just a varmint gun in 22-250Ai that I take on a few long range sets for dogs

Whacked a coyote at 662 with it a few weeks ago.

Scope tracks great, the zero stop is pretty neat and the glass is great. Not to mention its light enough to run on a hunting gun if you're watching weight.

My only complaint of the VX-6 scopes is the power adjustment ring turns hard and gets quite hard to turn in cold weather. Hopefully it's something Leupold can remedy if I send it in.

All in all its a hard scope to beat.
