Leupold VX-3L scope cover?

Gentlemen, I have a question... when you buy this scope brand new, is the front (objective) cover included in the box/package?

Depends on the scope. For some reason many Leupold, being one doesn't include one

It's a 4.5-14x50 metric 30mm tube illum German 4 dot, item # 67885.
Just bought it today from Ebay, brand new in original box.

Punched the item # in Leupold's website and it says this:

Leupold Scope Cover

Keep your Leupold® riflescope looking like new. Protect its finish from dirt and damage with the durable scope cover included with your riflescope. Made of water-resistant, nylon-laminated neoprene. Protect your scope in storage or in the field.

This is just the "stretchy" complete scope cover with Leupold name on both sides.
