Talking about the old style where the front ring twists in and the rear has the windage adjustment.
I haven't used a set of these in an age and a day but they seem to be the only thing that is going to give me the correct scope height on a certain rifle.
Now I'm wondering, really how are these things, I know they were the old stand by for ages and everyone moved away from them but properly lapped are they just as good as any rings out there?
Also would it be ok to reuse a base from one set of rings to another or should a new base be bought?
