SELLING Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x40 LR/T

Selling a scope I no longer need. Has some finish wear from rings but nail doesn't catch on them, shown in pictures. Solid scope, with clear glass. Previous owner had leupold change the reticle to a fine crosshair and small dot. Comes with the 4 inch sun shade

Only trades would be a mark 4 3.5-10x40 scope at this time.

Was the parallax changed when the reticle was changed to focus below 50yds?

I can test it tomorrow as it's already dark here but it was used on a HP gun, not smallbore

Edit:
On 14 power, I can adjust the focus to about 25 yards or so. Im having trouble finding the listed specs for this scope regarding focus, the lower the power the closer the focus can generally go

Thank you for the update. A lot of these scopes were reticle replaced and parallax adjusted for IR50/50 Sporter use by the factory as they were light and met the weight requirements for the class. Sounds like yours has been adjusted.

Can you link to a source that shows these are 50 yards minimum? My fx3 25x40 says 50 minimum but goes down to 35 or so as I can shoot at chickens without issue.

I'll call leupold to see if they can say anything about it as on another forum someone mentioned they can tell you what was done to it
