Leupold Mark 4 10x m3 scope

I was offered a leupold Mark 4 10x m3 scope today. I was curious if anyone here has used one and if the liked it. I don’t know much about it. Thanks for any help

I have a version and have used them. Is it a mk4 or an ultra? Was it modified my Premier Reticle?

Short story, was designed as a US Army sniper scope. Has 1 MOA elevation adjustments and half MOA windage. When used with the BDC turret caps they allowed the end user to go from 100y to over 1000 in one turn, with all the typical BDC advantages and disadvantages.

rugged scope if you can live with a fixed 10x.

It will say on the bottom above the serial number. Ultras have the internals glued. Mk4 is serviceable IF it’s not a premier reticle unit.

A little late to the discussion here but I have a MK4 M3 and like it a lot. Right now it's sitting on the shelf but I have plans to put it on a pronghorn rifle in the near future, I have thought about adding M1 knobs to it but haven't yet done so.

Excellent scopes! I have one with M1 turrets and the TMR reticle on my favorite long range coyote rifle. Quit a few coyotes have been surprised at 500 + yards. :p :p :)
