Because the name engraving is a deal breaker for most… just like some guys that engrave their SSN on a gun.

Ive got a Winchester Model 50 I bought when I was 16 in 1992. It had and still has the previous owners social security number scribed into the follower. Never bothered me, always figured it had to be a good shotgun if somebody was that proud of it. Still have it.

Scope is minty, had mounted on CZ 452.. also have some Leupold RF rings 3/8” (high I believe ) dovetails? that it was mounted in..

Heck , mask the name, spot paint it… sling some red across it…
