Leupold 8.5x25x40 focus question

Anyone that has one. Can anyone tell me what is the minimum focus distance at 25x power? I think these are the vari-x III, not sure they made a VX-3 in such a power. And this is for the 40mm AO version, unfortunately Leupold doesn't list such data on their site

I have a MK 4 in that power; won't focus under 50 yards.

Thanks krum! Is that for the side focus version or the 40mm adjustable objective?

I think 50yds +/-, is as good as it gets.

Whats the shortest distance marked on the front adjustment piece? Seems that would shed some light on the subject.

I have a 8.5-25x50 Leopold. The close focus range is 50 yards.
